Happy Thanksgiving! Gorgeous weather, and lots to be thankful for!
There hasn’t been a lot of fishing activity over the past week, as the Northwesterlies have been blowing, and the season is winding down. The Cabezon returned to jigging Entrance Reef, and there was still tons of activity there. He only retained one legal Chinook, but had a blast with the kids releasing some nice 3 to 5 pounders. Steve was DNA testing off The Fingers, and sampled lots of juvenile Coho and some undersized Chinook. Thrasher and the Flat tops seem to be asleep. The Grande is always worth a try this time of year, bottom bouncing Killy MaGee or Bon Chovy spoons in 160 feet of water.
There are still no great Coho reports. The Chums are beginning to show, but don’t bite very well locally.
Prawning has slowed a bit more, but is still worthwhile doing.
Good fishing!
