Chinook are plentiful out in 350 feet of water depth between the Grande and Whalebone. Try Killy MaGee or Mongoose spoons at 160 to 180 feet. Remember to release the fish very gently!
Barney Rubble had a great day on Saturday fishing for Ling. This was despite inclement wind and tide conditions. He was using medium herring in 40 feet of water off Thrasher.
Prawning is relatively productive, but if the commercial fishers are in the area you are going to fish, I would advise against it.
