There is an abundance of undersized Chinook in the Grande through Whalebone area. We landed and released fifteen Chinook in the 3 to 5 pound class in one run, but found no keepers. These were taken bottom bouncing in 180 feet of water using Mongoose and Killy MaGee spoons. Entrance has slowed from it’s red hot fishing of a week ago. There are still some nice fish to be caught, but it is taking much longer to catch them. Thrasher is holding fish also, with a mix of “undies” and keepers coming to the boat.
I haven’t been prawning at Thrasher, but it is open to fish.
  Good fishing!
