We finally got a calm, sunny day on January 9th and fished Entrance Island. Bait was scarce, but we kept 4 nice Chinook between 7 and 11 pounds, and released a few undersized and one legal sized fish. We were fishing the North side of Entrance Reef, following the 220 foot mark, with the lines at 220 feet. Killy MaGee and Mongoose spoons provided all the action. It is sure beautiful out there, with the snow on the mountains, and the sun shining!
Prawning is closed off The Flat Tops until April 1st. Thrasher is open during this time period.
