Chinook fishing was quite good last week, if you could get out between storms. Stevie Wonder fished Entrance, and kept 4 nice Chinook, fishing green glow spoons at 200 feet. We fished Grande to waterfall on Thursday, and kept two nice Chinook, and released 18 undersized from approximately 3 to 5 pounds. We were bottom bouncing Killy MaGee spoons in 160 to 200 feet of water. These fish are delicious! Ruby red, full of oil, and very mild flavour.
The prawning was surprisingly slow, we only kept about 50 prawns, and released lots of berried females. Hopefully this will improve!
Good fishing!
